Model Incredibly Powerful

As a former educator and as the Chairman of a private school board for 12 years I have come to truly appreciate the power of marketing for schools.  Working as a corporate consultant for large companies and government agencies (including education) over the past 15 years has allowed me to gather insights into the world of online and offline marketing done the way the big boys do it, and done the way the really smart marketers do it.  Without doubt, the direct marketing strategy is the king of all strategies – even Coca Cola are going direct now by putting names on their bottles – genius!

Enrolmorestudents.com.au taps into the latest trends* of online marketing combined with the punch that direct marketing packs.  Marketing was constantly a source of frustration for us as a Board, not because we wanted to avoid it, but because we didn’t know how to do it in a contemporary and relevant way.  We had to look outward to find new strategies.

The enrolmorestudents.com.au model is incredibly powerful!  The ability to communicate visually and audibly with prospective parents, without them even having to leave home is incredible.  Even more exciting is the ability of the system to know who is online listening in, who has left the webinar and who hasn’t taken any action from the webinar so they can be followed up.  Enrolmorestudents.com.au gives schools the ability to turn their marketing into a predictable science rather than some mysterious alchemy!

Besides the obvious marketing benefits, I can see the webinar model that Maurice, Julie and their team offer having far greater communication value than just marketing.  Through any school year there are key communications that the school wants to make, needs to get right and would like as many people to see at the same time.  Webinars would be the perfect model and they have so much more impact than the old style school newsletter!  The enrolmorestudents.com.au model would also allow schools to confirm or know who had logged in to the webinar.

Where was enrolmorestudents.com.au when I started on the Board all those 12 years ago?

 Perception Changed

Over the last few years I have employed several past students from St Paul’s School in a tuition business my wife owned, so I already had a favourable opinion of the school. Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in an Enrol More Students webinar series for the School and naturally I was intrigued.

The series provided me with a greater understanding of their student programs and policies. In particular, I was amazed at the depth of the pastoral care structure and the services for staff and students offered in the new Wellbeing Centre. In short, my perception of St Paul’s School has totally changed.

This online program has allowed me to listen to some of the key leaders of the school and gain a depth of understanding that I could never have done before, and I did it from the comfort of my own home. I really feel as if I know some of the staff now.

Parent Advocate

I really wanted to let St Paul’s know that I am very impressed and learnt an incredible amount just in that half hour.

We are relatively new to the school (just under 2 years). This webinar really focused on a few topics that I was unsure about and I now feel like I understand more about St Paul’s and what the School is all about.

I am looking forward to ‘tuning in’ to the next one…..a great tool for the School!

Invaluable Resource

I believe a communication tool like this is an invaluable resource for all schools and an essential element of a sound communication plan.  A Podcast offers your school the capacity to tailor key messages and positively influence parents’ opinions and beliefs about your school. This information sharing can have a strong influence on peoples decision making.

Now that’s a wise investment.

Innovative and Engaging

I am currently on the School Council of a large Anglican school in Brisbane that used the webinar program late last year. My two sons also attended the school. I have a background in marketing and was very impressed with the fresh approach that this strategy brought to the school’s marketing mix. The concept of interviewing key staff on-line is innovative and engaging. It provided a way for a school parent or perspective parent to appreciate the quality the staff and what the school offers.

Man of style: Her husband, meanwhile, kept it just as casual in ripped loose jeans and a black sweater The couple - who got married in 2008 - sent the internet into overdrive at the end of April when Beyonce released her hour-long visual album in which she hinted her spouse had been cheating on her with a woman named Becky. In one track, Sorry, Beyonce sang: 'Looking at my watch he should have been home/ I regret the day I put that ring on/ He always got them f***ing excuses/ He only want me when I'm not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair.' By the end of the album, the pair - who have been rocked with affair allegations for years - have seemingly patched up their differences and prepared to give their marriage another go. In the news: The outing comes after Jay Z finally responded to Beyonce's new album Lemonade, in which she hinted he's been unfaithful However, although many fans were quick to lash out at Jay for his alleged behaviour, some people believe the whole album may just be a publicity stunt to rake in cash. Though speculation is still rife, a month on from the release, it's thought the couple are planning to address the claims on a forthcoming secret album. A source told Page Six recently: 'Jay and Beyonce were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after Lemonade. It's more their style to respond through music.'
